Edina MN Has a High Quality Schools
Excellence is the Hallmark of Edina Public SchoolsEdina Public Schools have been working in partnership with families and communities in the district to provide quality education and contribute to raising responsible individuals. Their mission is to help them to be equipped with the skills, knowledge, creativity, self-worth, and values that they need in order to thrive in a culturally diverse and rapidly changing society.
They provide personalized learning so that students actively participate in what they learn and how they learn, to help them reach their full potential. Their education system is one that is a partnership with the students themselves and the families to develop customized learning that will help students succeed.
Students are motivated to follow their interests. They become flexible and learn to create healthy relationships with their fellow learners, teachers, and their community. The role of the teaches is redefined at Edina Public Schools. They become facilitators instead of simply delivering knowledge. It is a constant collaborative work. The families and the community have endless opportunities to engage and promote learning in and out of the classroom. In turn, students are encouraged in their academic growth and are prepared for success in the future.
